An Instrument of Thy Peace

Joel Francia’s story is a wonderful one. He is an intelligent person who dreamed to be a successful painter. During his college years, as he narrates it now, he also lived an untamed and an unpardonable life of parties, cigarettes, and alcohol. As years past by, he noticed that his life is colorless even if his paintings are colorful, so his dreams begun to disappeared until he met “God”, his strength and his inspiration.

It was 1990 when he decided to conduct an exhibit for his paintings. He met Rachelle there, one of his friend’s cousins. They went in a restaurant for a celebration. When they talked to each other, Rachelle mentioned things about the Bible and he became interested about it. After their conversation, and he begun studying the Bible. He felt God’s love for the first time. He felt that sense of forgiveness pour over him.

He begun to see the true meaning of life and must have heard the message that he give value for his being. That’s when he decided to be a volunteer as a Bible lecturer and to be an instrument of thy peace.
